Fixed term investments / structured products

These fixed term investments usually run for 3, 5 or 6 years and offer potentially higher returns which are linked to the performance of a stock market index such as the FTSE 100. Returns may be lower than those offered by deposit accounts or nothing at all. Some fixed term investments are designed to return, at the very least, your starting capital on maturity, provided you hold them for the full term.

Fixed term investments are not deposit accounts and do not benefit from deposit protection under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
