Updating your apps for Android and Apple devices
We regularly update your Barclays Mobile Banking and Barclays Pingit apps, giving you new ways to bank on the go.
To make sure you can always access the latest features, you just need to update the apps regularly. It's easy to do this – just turn on automatic updates in your device's settings, or visit its app store to see if there's an update.
Updates should happen smoothly but if you experience problems, this page will help you solve them.
Barclays Mobile Banking
If you've recently downloaded the latest version of your Android or Apple device's operating system, and now you're getting a 'Failed Passcode' message when you try to log in to your app, then it's likely you're using an old version of the Barclays Mobile Banking app.
You'll need to download the latest version from your device's app store.
If you're still having problems logging in, you'll need to re-register your app. Please select 'Forgotten passcode' and go through the registration process.
If you've recently changed your device and haven’t cancelled your Barclays Mobile Banking registration, and you're trying to re-register for the app, please make sure you use the same registration details you did when you first registered for the app.
If you have to re-register, the Call Us and Mobile PINsentry features won't be available for up to 10 days. This is to help us protect your security. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

If you've recently downloaded the latest version of your Android phone or iPhone's operating system, and now you're getting a 'Device Error' message when you try to log in to your app, then it's likely you're using an old version of Barclays Pingit.
You'll need to download the latest version from your phone's app store and re-register using the same details you used before. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Barclays Mobile Banking:
Download the most recent version of the app and then tap 'Forgot Passcode?' on the app log-in screen, then 'Reset' to re-register.
Bank on the go with the Barclays Mobile Banking app
To get the app, you’ll need an iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android device or Windows phone. You can download it from the relevant app store or, if it’s for your phone, let us know your number and we’ll text you a link.
The international number registrations are only applicable for international and wealth customers. Check list of eligible countries
Download the app
You must be 16 or over and have an eligible Barclays product or account to use Barclays Mobile Banking. Terms and conditions apply.
Download the most recent version of the app and then tap 'Help?' on the app log-in screen, then 'Reset your Barclays Pingit account' to re-register.

You can register your Personal and your Business accounts with Barclays Mobile Banking. If you view your Personal and Business accounts together in Online Banking, you can manage them together in the Barclays Mobile Banking app.
