Barclays Pingit is the easy way to send money using just a mobile number and you can now access the same current account in both apps.

Just download Barclays Pingit, enter your Barclays Mobile Banking passcode into the app when prompted and you’re ready to go.

Registering

Download the free Barclays Mobile Banking app

Once the app is downloaded to your mobile device, you'll need your sort code and account number to register. You’ll also need to verify your identity with PINsentry or at a Barclays cash machine
Once you've registered your current account, your other Barclays Personal and Business accounts (including your Barclaycard Personal accounts) that you view together in Online Banking will be added automatically and can be viewed and managed in your app. If you have groups of related accounts that are kept separate online you may need to set up Barclays Mobile Banking on another device for each group
You need to be 16 or over and have a Barclays current account and a UK-registered mobile number. You'll also need a web-enabled Android or BlackBerry device, iPhone or iPad

What's new

If you view your business and personal accounts together in Online Banking, you can now manage them together in the Barclays Mobile Banking app
If you have already registered the iPhone version onto your iPad, you can now download the iPad version to replace it. You can only be registered on one version of the app on a single device. If you install and register a new version, you will be automatically deregistered from the existing one

Important information

1. Terms, conditions & restrictions apply You must have a Barclays current account and be aged 16 or over to use Barclays Mobile Banking or Barclays Pingit. You will need to register and link your UK mobile number with your Barclays current account. Compatible smartphone, operating system and internet access (fees may apply) required.

Barclays Mobile Banking and Barclays Pingit only work with Android 2.3 and above, iOS 4.2.1 and above or BlackBerry OS 5.0 and above. You may be charged by your service provider for internet access on your smartphone

You are able to register either your personal or your business accounts with Barclays Mobile Banking and Barclays Pingit. If you require access to these apps with both your personal and business accounts, then you will need to register the accounts separately with different devices. Business customers may be charged for certain transactions depending on their tariff . Visit Barclays Mobile Business Banking or Barclays Pingit for Business customers for more information.

Business and Corporate Barclaycard credit cards cannot be registered to Barclays Mobile Banking at this time.
