1. Get in touch

To get started, apply for a Business Current Account or call 0845 601 0106 1 to book a meeting with a Barclays Business Manager

 

2. Meet your Barclays Business Manager

During this meeting, you'll be able to ask your manager any questions you have about banking with Barclays. You'll also need to bring along the following ID to open your account:

  • Your passport, driver’s licence or EU national identity card
  • A recent utility bill, council tax bill or bank or credit card statement

If your business will be trading under a name other than yours, you’ll also need to bring:

  • A trading invoice, or
  • A utility bill, or
  • Company stationery that includes your business’s trading name, registered address and the name(s) of its proprietor(s)
     

3. Let us do the hard work for you

Your new account will be up and running within 48 hours of your meeting with a Barclays Business Manager. And our hassle-free Account Transfer Service 4 will handle all the paperwork required to switch your standing orders and Direct Debits. See details of our Account Transfer Service
