International payments

  • No charge for Euro payments received from EU/EEA countries so long as they are formatted with valid IBAN and SWIFTBIC details. If the payment is in a different currency or from countries outside the EU/EEA, there will be a £6 charge.

Important information
 
1. When you pay off your balance in full and on time each month.
 
2. From date of account opening.
 
3. £32 annual fee payable on each anniversary of your account opening.
 
4. If your customer's bank is not using the Faster Payments service then your customer’s payment will be in your account in 3 working days.
 
5. The Cheque Guarantee Scheme was withdrawn on 30 June 2011, which means you are no longer able to accept guaranteed cheques as a form of payment, even if your customer presents a card displaying a cheque guarantee hologram. Visit Payments Council for more information
 
6. During the 18-month offer period, the Merchant Service Charge (MSC) will be charged at 1.5% for all card types (additional terms apply).
