Priority Club® Rewards terms and conditions
1.1 “Account” means your Priority Club® Rewards Visa® or Priority Club® Rewards Black Visa® account.
1.2 “Annual Period” means a period of twelve months starting on the date your Account is opened/upgraded or the anniversary of your Account opening/upgrade.
1.3 “Card” means your Priority Club Rewards Black Visa or Priority Club Rewards Visa
1.4 “Card Conditions” means your Priority Club Rewards Black Visa conditions.
1.5 “InterContinental Hotels Group” is the international hotel company which currently comprises of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Hotel indigo, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
1.6 “PRIORITY CLUB POINTS” means points awarded under the Priority Club Rewards program.
1.7 “Writing” includes means any written communication including writing in electronic form.
2. Membership of the scheme
2.1 To apply for the Priority Club Rewards Visa you’ll need to provide your current Priority Club Rewards membership number. To register for Priority Club Rewards you will need to visit and register at www.priorityclub.com where you will be given your membership number. You authorise us to submit your information for enrollment into the Priority Club Rewards program if your membership number is not provided.
2.2 Priority Club Points earned will be shown on each monthly Account statement.
3. Earning PRIORITY CLUB POINTS
3.1 You’ll earn Priority Club Points on all purchases made with your Card. This includes any purchases made with any additional Cards on your Account but excludes any cash withdrawals, balance transfers, cheque purchases, fees, interest, charges or other transactions.
3.2 Unless we tell you otherwise, you’ll earn Priority Club Points on your Priority Club Rewards Visa
a) at a standard rate of 1 Priority Club Point for every £1 spent;
b) at a standard rate of 2 Priority Club Points for every £1 spent at any of the participating hotels within the InterContinental Hotels Group
3.3 Unless we tell you otherwise, you’ll earn Priority Club Points on your Priority Club Rewards Black Visa
a) at a standard rate of 2 Priority Club Points for every £1 spent;
b) at a standard rate of 4 Priority Club Points for every £1 spent at any of the participating hotels within the InterContinental Hotels Group
c) You’ll earn a standard rate of 4 Priority Club Points Priority Club Points on Card purchases made outside the UK. However, you won’t earn Priority Club Points on the foreign exchange commission charged on non-UK Card purchases.
3.4 Unless we tell you otherwise you can only earn a maximum of 4 Priority Club Points for every £1 spent
4. Annual Free Night Voucher:
You will be eligible to receive a free one night stay voucher redeemable at over 4,400 InterContinental Hotels Group properties for every year commencing on the date your Priority Club Rewards Black Visa was first issued during which the net purchase transactions on your card reach £10,000. You will only be eligible to receive one voucher per year. After you achieve £10,000 of net purchase transactions please allow 6 to 8 weeks for your e-voucher to be delivered. A valid email address is required in order to receive your Free Night e-voucher. The e-voucher will be emailed to the address that is on the Priority Club Member Profile at that time. You must maintain a current, valid email address in your Member Profile and opt in to receive Priority Club e-communications in order to receive the Free Night e-voucher. The Free Night e-voucher is valid at hotels in the Priority Club Rewards Family of Brands and must be redeemed within 12 months from date of issue. Free Night e-voucher reservations may not be made at All Inclusive hotels and are valid for one standard room night rate and applicable taxes only. Rooms are limited, subject to prior sale and availability of allocated resources and may be unavailable during high demand periods. All reservations that make use of the Free Night e-voucher must be booked by calling the Priority Club Service Centre at 0871 226 1111. You must present the e-voucher at check in either in printed format or on your mobile device. E-Vouchers are not transferable, cannot be extended beyond the expiration date, redeemed for cash, or re-credited for points. Individual hotels cancellation policy applies to the use of the e-voucher. Cancellation fees apply if cancellation is made outside of the hotel's cancellation time period. Free Night e-voucher rules and regulations are subject to change. Barclaycard is not responsible for offer fulfillment.
5. Redeeming Priority Club Points
5.1 You can redeem Priority Club Points online at www.priorityclub.com.
6.1 You can’t earn or redeem Priority Club Points on the Priority Club Visa or Priority Club
Rewards Black Visa while:
a) you’re in breach of your Card conditions or these Terms and Conditions ; or
b) your Account usage has been restricted in accordance with Condition 24.1 of the Card Conditions. These restrictions do not apply to other methods of point earning within the Priority Club Rewards program
7.1 If you redeem Priority Club Points which have been awarded on any purchases made on your Account which are later returned or refunded you may have a negative number of Priority Club Points in your Account. You will not be able to redeem any Priority Club Points whilst you have a negative Priority Club Points balance in your Account.
8.1 We can change the terms of the Priority Club Rewards program at any time by giving you 30 days’ notice in writing.
9.1 If we have reasonable grounds for believing that you have acted unlawfully in obtaining or redeeming your Priority Club Points we may terminate your Priority Club Rewards Visa or Priority Club Black Visa with immediate effect.
10.1 We won’t be liable to you for any loss caused by any reason beyond our reasonable control, including as a result of any machine failing to work and industrial disputes.
11.1 We can transfer to any other person any or all of our rights and duties under these terms at any time.
12.1 We can give you notice under these terms by electronic means including, but not limited to, email or text message to an electronic address you have provided to us.
13.1 These terms will be governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
14 Priority Club Rewards program
14.1 The Priority Club Rewards program and all Priority Club Points awarded as a result of this agreement are subject to Priority Club Rewards program Terms and Conditions which are available at www.priorityclub.com
