A flexible way to borrow that's designed just for graduates

If you hold a Graduate Additions bank account with us, you can apply for an overdraft 1 2 to tide you over.

What you could get with a Graduate Additions overdraft:

(subject to status) 1

  • Up to £3,000 fee-free overdraft, with the amount depending on year of graduation:
    • Year 1: up to £3,000
    • Year 2: up to £2,000
    • Year 3: up to £1,000
    • Year 4: up to £500
    • Year 5: up to £200
  • The maximum arranged overdraft limit is £3,000

Daily overdraft fees are charged on your overdraft balance. If you go over the fee-free amount, you’ll be charged on the whole balance of your arranged overdraft as follows:

Up to £1,000 – 25p per day

Over £1,000 and up to £2,000 – 50p per day

Over £2,000 – £1 per day

Representative example:

Fee-free overdraft up to £3,000 (subject to application and status) while you stay within that limit.

For your 2nd year after graduation: Up to £2,000 fee-free. If you use an overdraft of £2,200, you will be charged £1.00 a day when you use it.

Daily fees are charged on the whole balance of an arranged overdraft above the fee-free limit. The daily fees are as follows:

Up to £1,000 – 25p per day

Over £1,000 and up to £2,000 – 50p per day

Over £2,000 – £1 per day
