A flexible way to borrow that's designed just for graduates

If you hold a Graduate Additions bank account with us, you can apply for an overdraft 1 2 to tide you over.

What you get with a Graduate Additions overdraft:

  • Up to £3,000 interest-free overdraft for up to 5 years after you complete your studies, depending on how long it’s been since you graduated:
    • 1 year or less: apply for up to £3,000
    • 1 to 2 years: apply for up to £2,000
    • 2 to 3 years: apply for up to £1,000
    • 3 to 4 years: apply for up to £500
    • 4 to 5 years: apply for up to £200
  • An extension on your overdraft up to £3,000 at 14.9% pa (variable) 1

Representative example for your 1st year after graduation:
Up to £3,000 – 0% interest pa (variable) 1
Lower interest-free tiers apply in future years

As long as you hold a Graduate Additions Account you can apply for an overdraft at your local branch.
