Logging in to Online Banking
To confirm your identity, you can choose between PINsentry or your passcode & memorable word
- You can use either your PINsentry card reader or the Mobile PINsentry feature in the Barclays Mobile Banking app
- Logging in with PINsentry gives you an extra level of protection, so you can carry out more security-sensitive transactions

If you're not already a PINsentry user, you can upgrade in Online Banking.
To use Mobile PINsentry, you’ll need the Barclays Mobile Banking app.
If you've forgotten your 5-digit passcode, you can reset it using PINsentry or order a new one.
If you’ve forgotten your Online Banking membership number, you can use your debit card number or your sort code and account number.
If you don’t have your PINsentry card reader or Mobile PINsentry, you can:
- Log in with your passcode and memorable word, if you’ve previously set this up
- Order an additional or replacement card reader by calling us on 0345 600 2323 1 (outside the UK, +44 247 684 2063 1)
If you can’t access Online Banking, you can visit a branch or call Telephone Banking on
