Registering
Barclays Business customers
- Download the app to both send and receive payments
- If your Barclays Business current account doesn’t have a debit card or you don’t have a smartphone or if you’re just not interested in sending payments, you can register online to receive payments only.
- The business name that Barclays holds on record will be shown when you receive or send money through Barclays Pingit
- If you’re already registered for Barclays Mobile Banking, there’s no need to register for Barclays Pingit too – just confirm your existing details within the app
- Send up to £3,000 per day with no limits on how much you can receive. See all daily limits
- Register up to 6 smartphone users against a single account so you and your team can send and receive from all devices 3
Non-Barclays Business customers
- Register online to receive Barclays Pingit payments. You will not be able to send money.
- The full name you provide when registering for the service will be made visible to customers who send you money
- You can register an additional mobile phone number to the same account to receive payments
- No limits on how much money you can receive
International payments
Send payments to family and friends in selected countries, securely and free of charge.

What countries can I send payments to using Barclays Pingit?
International payments are currently only available to Botswana, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia. We are working on adding more countries soon. You can still send money to other countries via Online Banking, Telephone Banking or in branch
Fees and charges
Barclays does not charge you for this service 1. An
exchange rate
will be applied when funds are converted from sterling to the local currency. You may incur charges by your service provider for internet usage.
