Actor and musician Idris Elba – star of TV dramas 'The Wire' and 'Luther' – kicked off the campaign with us by returning to London Fields in Hackney, where he used to play football as a kid, and met with local children. He reminisced about the excitement of playing football with friends before visiting the Arsenal FC Barclays Spaces for Sports site at Rosemary Gardens in Islington.

Rosemary Gardens – with its Astroturf pitches and courts – caters to multiple sports. With the Barclays Spaces for Sports programme, we're helping to provide sports facilities in disadvantaged areas, for the benefit of everyone in the community – and over 53,000 people are visiting the sites each week.
