Barclays Text Alerts allow you to keep track of your money by receiving texts to your mobile phone. They are simple to set up and free of charge. You choose the information you wish to receive 1. The service is secure and we will never send sensitive details such as your account number.

  • Near Limit Alert – be advised when your balance falls below a figure you specify and be notified if you incur and are charged a Paid Referral Fee
  • Large Credit Alert – be advised when a large credit is received into your account
  • Large Debit Alert – be advised when a large payment has left your account
  • Weekly Balance Alert – your account balance and the last 5 transactions

1. Text Alerts service is subject to registration. Terms and conditions apply. You can suspend or cancel your Text Alerts at any time. You will need a Barclays Current Account and to be registered for Barclays Online Banking to access Barclays Mobile Banking. Access to Barclays Mobile Banking is subject to network coverage of your mobile service provider and your subscription with them for mobile/wireless internet. Your mobile phone will need to be enabled for internet browsing. You may be charged connectivity and usage rates by your mobile service provider. You will need your PINsentry reader to access Barclays Mobile Banking.
