Branch Banking
Everyone's welcome
We're working hard to make every aspect of your day-to-day banking more convenient. We're always improving our services and communications to make them more accessible. Don't hesitate to ask a Customer Advisor in branch if you need some help.
Barclays Information Line 0800 400 100*
Find out more about our facilities and services: call our Information Line on 0800 400 100* between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday or between 9am and 5pm on Saturday.
Access
The most important thing is being able to get in. We've developed car parks (in some locations), level or ramped access (in most locations), power-assisted doors, lifts to upper floors (in some branches), improved lighting and low-level counters (in many locations). Contact us to find out what facilities are available in your branch.
Hearing aid users
For hearing aid users, all our branches have hearing induction loops fitted at the counter. We also offer portable induction loops for discussions away from the counter or in an interview room.
Post Office banking
Because the Post Office has thousands of outlets across the country, you might find it easier to do your banking there. You can deposit cash and cheques using a pre-printed credit slip and deposit envelope, and withdraw cash, up to the value of your cheque guarantee card.
To order some deposit envelopes now please telephone 0800 169 3091* between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday or between 9am and 5pm on Saturday.
Easy-to-use cash machines
All our new cash machines have clear, easy-to-read screens and funnelled entry for your card. The keypads have Braille as well as standard text labels and large, bold numbers on raised keys.
If you're visually impaired, we have a booklet called 'I'd like to use a Barclays cash machine'. You can also call our Information Line and ask for a copy to be sent to you in your preferred format. It can make using our cash machines much simpler.
