Human Resources
HR works in partnership with the Group's businesses, helping them to find, attract and retain the best people. The team offers two types of service. The first is an operational service directed at individuals, usually line managers or employees. The second is transformational, and is used by internal business clients to improve the performance of their people and business.
Finance
The Finance team works with businesses from across the Group to ensure that we are managing our own finances in the most efficient way. This includes putting consistent financial processes in place, making sure the business receives timely performance reports and offering support on all financial matters.
Risk
Our Risk team operates across the Group dealing with all types of risk and risk management. Risk management is a vital component of our business - rather than preventing people from taking risks, it enables our businesses to understand the risks they face and manage them accordingly.
Communications and Marketing
Our Communications function includes the following teams: Internal Communications and Editorial, Community and Public Relations, Events, Chief Operating Office and Public Policy.
Marketing is split between London, Coventry, Northampton as well as regional and international offices, and is made up of Central Marketing Centres of Excellence, UK Banking Marketing and other Cluster Marketing teams.
