Direct-IP is a WindowsTM software package from Barclays. It is one of the most convenient, efficient and cost-effective ways of gaining access to the Bacstel-IP service in order to deliver payment and collection instructions direct to Bacs. Direct-IP offers a number of benefits:
- Reduced costs - transactions submitted through Direct-IP under our Bacs Direct service are generally charged at a lower tariff than for transactions submitted through indirect access channels
- High level security - all data held in Direct-IP is encrypted
- Convenient method of initiating payments and collections through the Bacs three day payment clearing system
- Engineer installation and on-site training
- AUDDIS compliant
- Payment and collection file data imported from your existing account system
- Approved by BASS (Bacs Approved Software Service).
