Many home insurance customers have to pay a cancellation fee if they want to switch insurers mid way through their policy life time. To help customers to switch to Barclays, we offer up to £25 towards any cancellation fee they might have to pay to their existing insurer.
To qualify for this customers must:
- Purchase a Barclays Home Insurance Policy (either single or combined cover)
- Cancel their previous home insurance policy and pay their insurer's cancellation fee
- Send proof of fee payment to Barclays Insurance Services, Customer Service Centre, PO Box 7463, Perth, PH2 0YX.
Upon receipt, Barclays Insurance Services will dispatch a cheque (typically within 5 days) to the customer for the value of their cancellation fee, up to a maximum of £25.

Nothing to Insure?
For colleagues who don’t have a home to insure, the staff discount of 20% and the offer of half price contents can be passed on to a nominated family member. Colleagues can only pass this benefit on to one person and will then be unable to take up a staff offer on home insurance themselves for as long as their family member holds a policy.
Colleagues wishing to pass on their discount should give their family member their staff number the Exclusively Ours telephone number and advise them to quote the staff number when they call.
