How do I change my mortgage Direct Debit details?
You can change your Direct Debit details in Online Banking. Just log on and choose your mortgage from the list of accounts. Select ‘Amend Direct Debit’ under the ‘Mortgage management’ drop-down menu and make the changes.
If you don’t have Online Banking, you can complete our online form to change the date of the monthly repayment and the bank account we take the payment from. You can’t change your repayment amount with this form, but you can using Online Banking.
If you change the date to later in the month, you’ll be charged the extra days of interest – for example, if your normal payment date is the 16th and you move this to the 21st, you’ll need to pay an extra five days’ interest on the balance.
