How do I change my address, phone number and email address online?
If you need to change your personal contact details, just log in to Online Banking and go to the dropdown menu under your name in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then select the ‘Contact Details’ link under ‘My details’.
You can change any of the following contact details that we hold for you:
- Email address
- Phone numbers
You'll need to have your PINsentry card reader or Mobile PINsentry to update your phone number or home address. You'll also need to have a current or savings account with us to update your address online.
If you're unable to change your address online, you can:

- For Personal customers – call 0345 734 5345*
- For Premier customers – call 08009 24 7 365*
- For Business customers – call 0345 605 2345*
Drop in to one of our branches – you'll need to bring a valid Barclays debit card (make sure you know your PIN), full passport, EU photocard driving licence or EU national ID card to confirm your identity
If you have a joint account, you can update the account address and your customer address online. The other account holders will need to contact us separately to update their customer addresses.
Please don't email us any requests to change your contact details – they're not secure so we can't act on them.
