What's covered?

We've set out the key features of our Single-trip Travel Insurance below. For full details, have a read of the policy document.

There are three different policy types, and a number of extra covers you can add including Winter Sports and Golfing Cover.

Check you qualify

If you can confirm the following statements you can complete a Barclays travel insurance quote online. We do exclude some medical conditions from our cover - see below.

You and any others on the policy are:

  • UK residents
  • Aged under 70
  • Haven't received advice, medication or treatment for a medical condition within the last 12 months
  • Aren't aware of any reason why a planned holiday would be cancelled or cut short

How's your health?

Your policy won't cover cancellation, medical expenses or abandonment claims if you:

  • Have received in-patient treatment within six months of travel
  • Are on a hospital waiting list for in-patient treatment
  • Are planning to get medical treatment during your trip
  • Are travelling against the advice of a doctor
  • Are suffering from a terminal illness
  • Are suffering from a diagnosed psychiatric condition that existed when the trip was booked
