4 ways to let us know
Reporting, cancelling and replacing a lost or stolen debit or credit card is quick and easy. Please let us know as soon as you discover your card’s been lost or stolen, we’ll cancel it immediately and send you a replacement card straightaway – you should receive it within 2 working days 1. If this happens when you’re abroad, our emergency cash service can help.
Using your mobile banking app
The quickest way to report a lost or stolen card is via your Barclays Mobile Banking app 2. Simply sign into the app and tap on ‘Account management’ on the home screen or in the side menu and then on ‘Report a card lost or stolen'.
You can report your card lost or stolen at any of our branches. If it's an emergency and you need your card straightaway, you can get instant debit card replacement service in over 250 branches 4.
Using Online Banking
Log in to Online Banking and click on the ‘Manage accounts’ tab on the top menu. Then select the ‘Lost/Stolen Card’ option in the ‘Card Services’ list.
Over the phone

- Debit cards will be delivered to the address we hold on record for your account in 2 working days, dependent on Standard Royal Mail first class delivery to UK mainland customers. This service does not include credit cards. Requests involving a new PIN will take an extra day.
- Terms and conditions apply. You must be 16 or over, have a Barclays current account and have a UK-registered mobile number to use the Barclays Mobile Banking app. To help us protect your security reporting lost and stolen cards will become available 10 days after you complete your registration for Barclays Mobile Banking.

Instant debit card replacement T&Cs:
This service cannot be offered if your account has been open for less than 30 days. It’s available for replacement cards only – not for new customers or new accounts. We can only issue replacement debit cards – not cash cards, credit cards or savings cards. Replacement cards issued in branch will have a new card number. If you have a personalised debit card, we’re not able to print your picture so you’ll receive a standard debit card. This service is limited to 2 cards per customer, per calendar year. You can still order a replacement card if you need any more and we'll send it to you in the post.
As a security measure, you’ll need to provide photographic ID such as a passport. You’ll be asked to use your PIN once the card has been printed. If you don’t know your PIN or you have a Chip and Signature card, then you’ll need to provide an additional form of identification to give proof of your UK address such as a full UK paper driving licence , council tax bill or utility bill.
