You can apply if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You’re a registered charity
  • You’re an excepted charity
  • You’re a community interest company
  • You have an expected annual turnover of less than £100,000 
  • You have a maximum of three officials.

Sorry a Charity and Impact account isn’t suitable for your organisation 

We appreciate this isn’t the news you were hoping to receive. There are some alternative options you could explore to see if they’re suitable for your organisation. For example, if you are running a time-based fundraiser on behalf of a charity or personal initiative, you could try a fundraising platform instead. Although some of the platforms charge a percentage fee, you might be able to reach more potential donators and benefit from Gift Aid if you’re fundraising for a charity.

If you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You’re a startup
  • You’re an incorporated community group or club

Free for the first 12 months

You’ll pay no monthly fees for the first 12 months with your Barclays Business Account2. After that, it’s £8.50 a month.

To be eligible, your organisation must:

  • Not already have, or have had, a business bank account 
  • Be based in the UK.
