It's not too late to support

The Big Night In Appeal

Help people and local communities during the Coronavirus crisis – we’re matching donations through our link1 until midnight, 23 June.

On 23 April, the nation came together for an evening of televised entertainment to support The Big Night In Appeal, raising money to help keep vulnerable people in our communities safe, warm, fed and connected during this challenging time.

While the event has past, there’s still time to show your support.

Where does the money go?

The money raised will be split equally between Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need and will go on to support local charities and projects in the UK, so they can continue to provide vital emergency support.

What impact does your donation have?

Your support can make a huge difference to people’s lives in these challenging times, from making sure they’re safe from harm and mentally healthy, to ensuring access to food, warmth and shelter; as well as helping people stay connected, active and positive.

Making your donation go further

We’ve kick-started our donation with £1 million and, if you’re a Barclays customer making a donation through our link, we’ll match it penny-for-penny and pound-for-pound, up to a total of another £1 million.

Other ways Barclays is supporting communities during the coronavirus

The Barclays Foundation has been established to provide a COVID-19 Community Aid Package of £100 million to charities working to support vulnerable people impacted by the coronavirus crisis, and to alleviate the associated social and economic hardship.

Barclays will match customer donations made through the link on our site, up to a total of £1 million.
