Barclays Online Banking
Business banking at your fingertips
Barclays Online Banking is a safe and convenient way to take care of your daily banking, whether you’re at work, out and about or on holiday.
Convenient, simple banking for small not-for-profit organisations
Free, everyday banking for small not-for-profit organisations – smart, sensible support that gives you the freedom to put your resources back into helping and supporting your community.
We know the coronavirus situation is a worry, and we’re committed to supporting you and your business through this difficult time.
We’re receiving lots of business current account applications at the moment, so it’s taking us longer than usual to process them.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
A Community Account could give your not-for-profit organisation a head start with free, everyday banking and a no maintenance fee. Easy, accessible banking and support combined with innovative ideas, give you and your members the easiest, newest ways to bank.
We aim to resolve any queries you have straight away – but if we can’t, we’ll give you a named contact who’ll take personal responsibility for resolving your query. They’ll keep you informed until we’ve sorted it out.
Everyday banking to suit you – online, in our app, on the phone or in branch.
When you open your Community Account, we’ll show you how to register for Pingit Giving. It allows the public to create personalised fundraising pages in their Pingit app for your charitable organisation. All funds raised through Pingit Giving go straight to your organisation – and with Pingit Giving only taking 1% of all donations made, you could benefit from some of the lowest fees in the market.
LifeSkills is all about helping young people prepare for the workplace. We’ve created a suite of activities, exercises and lesson plans that your club or charitable organisation can download and run with your youth group.
Our eligibility criteria broadly align with the definitions of charitable organisations set out in the Charities Act 2011. This allows us to provide more support to the not-for-profit organisations that need us the most.
If your organisation is a not-for-profit with a charitable purpose and an annual turnover of less than £100,000, you might be eligible – use the tool below to check.
You’ll also need a valid UK mobile number, a valid email address, and your organisation must have three officials or fewer.
In order to begin your application for this account, please review our Community Account criteria [PDF, 379KB]. Here you will find a unique reference number suited to your organisation. This will save you some time when calling our new Customer Team.
