What happens with Contactless Mobile if my debit card is damaged or worn out?

If you tell us your card is damaged or worn out, we’ll send a new card to you. You’ll still be able to use your existing card and Contactless Mobile as normal while you wait for it.

Once you have received your new card, you’ll need to log in to Barclays Mobile Banking, go to ‘Contactless Mobile’ and select ‘change card’. There, you’ll see an image of your new card – if you select that, we’ll create a new Contactless Mobile account for you that you’ll be able to use straightaway.

If you use Contactless Mobile on Transport for London, you’ll also need to advise them of your new account number. You can find this under ‘account details’ in the Contactless Mobile section of your Barclays Mobile Banking app.
