- You have an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and have the minimum required operating system installed.
If you have a joint account, you and the person you’re sharing your account with can register for the app using separate mobile phones.

For your security, you won’t be able to register for the app if your mobile phone has been rooted or jailbroken.
If you have a new mobile phone or tablet and aren't going to keep your old one, you should delete your old device’s app registration. You can do this by going to ‘More’, then ‘Settings’, and select ‘Delete app registration’. Then download the Barclays app from the app store of your new device.
