How do I switch on fingerprint log in for Barclays Mobile Banking?
Fingerprint log in allows you to use your fingerprint as a passcode on an Android device using Android 7 (Nougat) and above.
If you have an Android device with a fingerprint reader on Android 7 (Nougat) and above, you first need to set up Fingerprint log in on your device. To do that, select ‘Fingerprint scanner’ (or the equivalent) from your device settings and add a fingerprint.
You can then enable Fingerprint log in for your Barclays Mobile Banking account from the app’s settings screen.
If you’d like to use your fingerprint to log in to Barclays Mobile Banking, you should make sure that only your fingerprints are registered to your mobile device.
Don’t activate this feature if you allow other people to access your mobile device using their fingerprints. We consider any transaction made with a registered fingerprint as authorised by you.
