How do I get another PINsentry card reader?
Did you know that you don’t have to carry around a card reader anymore? Since so many of our customers told us they don’t like how big the PINsentry card reader is, we introduced a digital version. This means you don’t need to have a physical card reader unless you want one.
Mobile PINsentry is a feature of our Barclays Mobile Banking app. If you already have the app, you should be able to use Mobile PINsentry straightaway. The feature is automatically activated in the app 10 days after you register.
Don’t have a smartphone or just prefer to have a physical device? You can order a PINsentry card reader online by logging in with your passcode and memorable word. We’ll deliver the card reader to your registered UK address, and you should get it within 5 working days. There’s usually no charge for a replacement card reader.
If you can’t log in, order a new device by calling us on 0345 600 2323 (outside the UK dial +44 2476 842063). Lines are open 24/7. Calls to 03 numbers use free plan minutes if available; otherwise they cost the same as calls to 01/02 prefix numbers. To maintain a quality service, we may monitor or record phone calls. Alternatively, pop into a branch to order a new card reader.
