Can I use Pingit if I’m a Business customer?
Yes - if you have a smartphone and you're either the sole signatory on a Barclays Business current account, or you have been added as an additional user by the authorised signatory. To be added as an additional user you need to be listed on the bank mandate for the Business account.
If your Barclays Business account has more than one signatory, or you’re not a Barclays Business customer, you can still register online to receive Pingit payments.
You’ll get charged for transactions if you’re on certain Business current account tariffs. To find out whether you’ll need to pay, call 0333 200 1012* .
*Calls to 03 numbers are charged at the same rate as dialling an 01 or 02 number. If your fixed line or mobile service has inclusive minutes to 01/02 numbers, then calls to 03 are counted as part of this inclusive call volume.
Non-BT customers and mobile phone users should contact their service providers for information about the cost of calls.
