What do I do if the person I sent money to with Pingit didn’t get it?
Check the person you sent the money to is registered for Pingit. If you’ve sent a payment to someone who doesn’t have Pingit or Paym, they’ll get a text asking them to register for Pingit within 7 days to get the money. This is called a ‘pending payment’, and the money won’t leave your account until the person you’ve sent it to registers.
If they’ve registered for Pingit, but with a current account that’s not with Barclays, the money will have been sent to their Pingit account, not their current account, so ask them to check their app.
