Current Account Switch Service Offer - Terms and Conditions

1. Receive Double Rewards for 12 months if you switch your bank/building society current account using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS), between 1 July 2019 and 30 November 2019 (the “Offer Period”) and sign-up to, or already hold, Barclays Blue Rewards:

(a) If you don’t already have Barclays Blue Rewards you must request a full switch into an eligible Barclays current account and sign up to Barclays Blue Rewards using that current account;

or

(b) If you already have Barclays Blue Rewards you must request a full switch into the current account which has been nominated for Barclays Blue Rewards. This is the account the Barclays Blue Rewards fee is debited from each month.

2. Receive Treble Rewards for 12 months, instead of Double Rewards, if the current account you switch into, and have nominated for Barclays Blue Rewards, is a Premier Current Account, and you complete the above (1). The eligibility criteria for Premier Banking can be found here

3. If the current account you have switched into, and nominated for Barclays Blue Rewards, changes during the 12 months following the Offer Period we will change the value of your Rewards:

(a) If your account is not a Premier Current Account at the time you join Blue, but becomes a Premier Current Account between July 2019 and October 2020, you will earn Treble Rewards from the month your account is amended, for the remaining months of your offer;

(b) If your account ceases to be a Premier Current Account between July 2019 and October 2020, you will earn Double Rewards, instead of Treble Rewards, from the month your account is amended, for the remaining months of your offer.

4. The switch must be initiated in the Offer Period:

(a) Switches that have been initiated within the Offer Period will be eligible for Double /Treble Rewards. It is not relevant whether the switch has completed within the Offer Period;

(b) Switches that have been initiated prior to the Offer Period but are completed within the Offer Period will not be eligible for Double/Treble Rewards.

5. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional rewards or cashback offer, including any other Double or Treble Rewards offer, except where expressly permitted by us. This offer supersedes/replaces any previous Double or Treble Blue Rewards Offer that you may be participating in.

6. Rewards will only be Doubled /Trebled for 12 months if:

(a) you switch and sign up for (or switch and already hold) Barclays Blue Rewards during the Offer Period; and

(b) you meet the monthly eligibility criteria to join and remain in Barclays Blue Rewards; and

(c) you pay the monthly fee for Barclays Blue Rewards for the 12-month period.

(d) you remain in Barclays Blue Rewards for the full 12-month period.


7. Double or Treble Rewards will be available on the Barclays Blue Rewards, which are paid into your Blue Rewards Wallet and exist at the start of the Offer Period (1 July 2019) (Loyalty Reward, Mortgage Loyalty Reward, Home Insurance Loyalty Reward, Life Insurance Reward, Loan Loyalty Reward, Barclaycard Loyalty Reward and Enhanced Cashback). You will not receive Double/Treble Rewards for any rewards which are not paid into your Blue Rewards Wallet, and any new rewards that are introduced by Barclays to Barclays Blue Rewards after 1 July 2019. Double/Treble Rewards will be paid into your Barclays Blue Rewards wallet as a separate payment, later in the month than the standard Barclays Blue Rewards you receive.

8. You’re not eligible for the offer if:

(a) you are switching from a bank/building society that does not participate in the Current Account Switch Service. Please check here to see if your bank/building society participates. https://www.currentaccountswitch.co.uk/Pages/Home.aspx;

or

(b) you do not register for Barclays Blue Rewards. You will not be registered for Barclays Blue Rewards automatically.

9. Barclays reserves the right to withdraw the Double and/or Treble reward(s) at any time. Customers who have requested a switch during the Offer Period which has not completed at the time the Double/Treble Rewards offer is withdrawn will remain eligible.

10. We reserve the right to change the value of the Blue Rewards at any time, and as shown in terms and conditions we will notify you separately of this if we believe it impacts you.
