Buildings accidental damage – over half of claims enquiries relate to accidental damage, a quarter of which are for buildings. It covers things like broken windows, cracked basins and damaged pipes

Protected no-claim discount allows two claims in five years without losing your no-claim discount, and your premium won’t be affected as a direct result of a claim

Bike offer terms, conditions and exclusions

a. Valid for quotes between 25 June 2020 to 9 August 2020 where the policy starts within 90 days of the quote date. Quotes amended after 9 August 2020 are no longer eligible.

b. Offer available to new home insurance customers only.

c. To be eligible, the policy must include

  • Buildings, contents or starter contents cover and
  • Bike cover

d. You’ll be eligible to receive a credit for the cost of your bike cover once your policy has been live for 90 days. You must continue to make your premium payments for the policy, which won’t change as a result of the credit.

e. Once the policy’s been live for 90 days, the insurer, Gresham Insurance Company Limited, will credit the cost of bike cover back to you within 30 working days. If you’ve paid by Direct Debit, the credit will be made back to the same account. If you’ve paid by credit or debit card we’ll contact you to confirm the bank account you’d like us to credit. If we’re unable to contact you or don’t hear from you, we’ll send you a cheque.

f. If you remove buildings, contents or bike cover within 90 days of your policy start date, you won’t be eligible for the bike cover credit.

g. If you’re renewing an existing policy, you’re not eligible for this offer.

h. Offer excludes bike, personal items, gadget, sports equipment, legal services and home emergency cover when bought on a standalone basis, landlord cover and Premium Home Insurance.

i. Policies cancelled within 14 days of the start date or with unpaid premiums won’t be eligible.
