Creating opportunities for all

We’re proud to be making the largest ever donation, as an Official Partner, to The Wimbledon Foundation, which celebrates communities and inspires the next generation through sports. Barclays and Wimbledon are joining forces to celebrate the very best of tennis, while continuing to create and champion opportunities for all. We’re working closely on our shared commitment to creating opportunities through sport by launching the Set for Success programme, delivered by Youth Sport Trust. This will support up to 3,900 young people to develop life skills through the power of sport and mentoring from inspirational athletes.

Beyond the Foundation, we’re delighted to welcome sporting star, Frances Tiafoe, on board as our Official Tennis Ambassador. Tiafoe’s knowledge, tenacity, and passion for the game make him the perfect match to help us create opportunities through sport.

Here’s what he has to say:

“I’m thrilled to be working with Barclays to help change the lives of young people who typically wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience the game of tennis. Growing up, playing at Wimbledon was my dream, so to be an Ambassador for Barclays, the new Banking Partner for Wimbledon, is very special.”
