What happens if I pay in a cheque and it bounces?
If a cheque is returned to us unpaid, we’ll subtract its amount from your account – even if you’ve already withdrawn the money.

- After six working days have passed since it was paid in – if processed using the paper-based clearing system
- After two working days have passed since it was paid in – if processed using the image clearing system
