Card-protection insurance and identity-protection alert
In November 2012, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that CPP Ltd would have to compensate customers because some of their sales practices regarding card-protection and identity-theft products fell short of industry standards.
A scheme of arrangement has been agreed with the FCA to fully compensate eligible customers in a way that's fast, simple and doesn't require any claims management company. Customers who may be entitled will be contacted by mail from 27 August 2013.
If you feel that you're entitled to compensation, there's nothing you need to do right now.
