Why hasn't my monthly payment amount reduced after I started making overpayments?
Not all overpayments result in us recalculating your standard monthly payment. We’ll only do this if you overpay by at least 3 times your normal monthly payment amount. We consider this to be part-redemption, so we’ll recalculate the amount you’ll normally pay.
We’ll still apply any overpayment amount to reduce your mortgage balance though. This means the interest you’re charged will be reduced.
If you’d like us to recalculate your monthly payment as a result of your overpayments, please contact us on 0333 202 7580 .
