What to do if I’ve lost or forgotten my Smart Investor log-in details, or want to change them?
You can retrieve your details online by clicking on the ‘Forgotten your membership number?’ link. You’ll find this on the log-in page. You’ll be asked to enter your surname, date of birth, Barclays debit card number and three-digit security code. Your membership number will then be displayed on screen
If you don’t have a Barclays debit card, just click on ‘I don’t have a card’ and then follow the onscreen steps to retrieve your membership number.
Once you have your membership number, you can reset your passcode if you’ve forgotten that too. Go back to the log-in page, then enter your surname and membership number. When you’ve done that, click ‘Next step’, and then the ‘Forgotten your passcode?’ link that will appear on the page.

How to retrieve lost or forgotten log-in details
To change your identification details and memorable data, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your Barclays Smart Investor account, click on ‘Investments’ tab
- From your ‘My hub’ page, click on your name at the top right hand side
- On the drop down menu, select ‘Change passcode and memorable word’, and follow the onscreen instructions.
