How do I register for Telephone Banking?
Next time you need to speak to us, try using 'Direct call' in the Barclays app 1.
As you’ll be calling from your app, we’ll know it’s you, so won’t need to ask you security questions at the start.
Just log in to your app, go to 'Help', 'Contact us', then tap 'Direct call' and your phone will automatically dial our number.
The number to call to register for Telephone Banking depends on what type of account you have with us – Personal or Premier. You need to be over 16 years old to register.
Personal customers – call +44 345 975 7575 (outside the UK, )
Premier customers – call 0800 924 7365
After you’ve registered, we’ll send you your membership number and 5-digit passcode in 2 separate letters within 5 working days.
Once you’ve received those, you can use the service whenever you like to check your balance, transfer money between your accounts, order chequebooks, pay a Barclaycard bill and much more.
